Cog Creative Space is South Australian photography studio located in Norwood, five minutes drive from the Adelaide CBD. Our studios are professionally-equipped and affordable, run by working professonal photographers. We offer a space that is supportive and encouraging for emerging and professional photographers alike, and welcome those who are looking for a new positive, fun and engaged creative space … to create, connect, and thrive.
Cog Creative works as a community of collaborative creatives, driven by an ethos of support and connection. We have regular gatherings for networking, alongside a workshop program and shared activities. Our space features on-site private carpark, high-speed internet access, reverse cycle air conditioning, a space sustainably powered by solar, and recycling of all general and green waste.

I took on the analogue Black and White developing workshop and had a great time. The location in Macclesfield is incredible and Sam is a great teacher, guiding you through all the basics.

Sam was super friendly and helpful throughout. We were also impressed by how quiet the space and its surroundings were – no sound issues at all, which made recording interviews a breeze.
When we’re back in Adelaide, we’ll be sure to come back.

I have used COG creative a couple times now mainly for press shots and to film a scene for a music video. There is access to plenty of resources such as bathrooms, change rooms, makeup room etc. You have the ability to hire on set backdrops, props & lighting if you need extra fixtures.
Overall the studio is clean but also very eclectic which helps to inspire the creative mind. Highly recommend!
