Beyond the lens - building a sustainable photography business
Our ‘Beyond the Lens – Building a Sustainable Photography Business’ event, powered by Aftershoot, was an epic success.
We had a full house in the Pro Studio, with both emerging and established creators listening intently to the wisdom of our incredible panel pf speakers. We covered all the nitty gritty stuff about finances, business structures, tax and accounting, streamlining your work, scaling your business, and all the sexy stuff about IP, copyright, contracts and legal stuff. There was a lot crammed in to the session, so we had pizza and refreshment breaks, with plenty of opportunities to network. Our Q&A panel offered practical tips and answered specific questions that added to our insight across the fields of accounting, law and ‘businessing’ in the creative sector.
