Please note that the location fee is to cover the extra time involved in packing up the studio lighting, travelling to and from the location (metro) and setting up and packing down on location. There may be an extra loading if the location is beyond the mtro area, but we do also have a studio in the Adelaide Hills, so some hills locations are also convenient. 

When selecting your location please make sure it is accessible, with on-site parking and easy access with equipment. We do not need electricity as most of our equipment can run on batteries. Please also consider things like privacy (not too many people around), and timing (if the location is exterior, it is crucial that you will be back-lit with the sun behind you when facing the camera. If you would like feedback on your location choice/s please get in touch so that we can discuss options and make sure it is a feasible choice. Interiors are of course generally much simpler. Please ensure that there is plenty of space available to set up lighting etc. 

IMPORTANT: The weather may be an issue for exterior shoots – we want to avoid windy conditions (this can be a nightmare for both our equipment and your hair!) and of course rain would cause problems as well. We prefer not to work in temperatures above 32 degrees if possible (princess!) – not only for our comfort but also to avoid sweaty, shiny skin and red faces 🙂
